What TimeGap is

TimeGap is a free website that compares local times between places, finds overlapping working hours and shows current times around the world. There is no account, no subscription and no paid tier. You may use it for personal or commercial purposes.

Accuracy, and its limits

Times are calculated from the IANA time zone database, through the browser on your own device. That database is the same source used by operating systems worldwide, and it is maintained carefully — but time zone rules are set by governments and can change at short notice. An old browser or an out-of-date device may also carry old rules.

For anything with real consequences — a flight, an exam, a legal deadline, a medical appointment — confirm the time with the airline, institution or person involved. TimeGap is provided as-is, without any warranty that a given result is correct for your situation.

Acceptable use

You are welcome to use the site normally, including linking to any page. Please do not:

• Attempt to disrupt the site or the people using it.
• Scrape it at a volume that degrades service for others — the pages are static, but hammering them is still hammering them.
• Present the site as your own, or imply we endorse you.

Intellectual property

The TimeGap name, design and written content belong to their author. The underlying time zone data is public. You are free to quote a result, take a screenshot, or share a link without asking.

Third-party content

The site links to external pages and will carry advertising supplied by third parties. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Dealings with an advertiser are between you and them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TimeGap and its author are not liable for losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site — including a missed meeting, call or deadline. The service is offered free of charge and without guarantees of availability.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the site develops. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site means accepting it.
